Apple is all about style over substance, putting form over function. Their products appeal to the type of person who is more fixated on being part of a “movement”, or a person who wants to look stylish, over those who want things to function the most efficiently. Hence, this is why they were such early adopters of getting rid of practical ways to interface with their product. They were more concerned about making their product look pretty, than making it accessible. Pretty soon they will get rid of their hard drives and memory, to make their product look even more sleek, and even though this will cause the product not to function at all, trust me, Apple devotees will buy it.
